2013 Draft Order

No need to play the season because we figured it all out.  Based on talent levels and schedules, we modeled how the teams will finish (we will present that information in a post shortly).  This informs up a projection for next year's draft order.

The best news about the 2013 draft is that our second round pick will be a lot higher than the last few years with the reduced number of compensation picks.

I really hate the way Andy McPhail refused to try and capitalize on compensation picks. Toronto and Boston made moves specifically to acquire those picks, and I never understood why the O's weren't doing the same thing.

Wont there be 10 playoff teams in 2012 and thus the 2013 draft?

How could McPhail have capitalized on them more? You mean trade for guys near the end of their contracts and then let them walk for the pick?
