Nick made comments to the effect of "I'm struggling, and need to be more aggressive and swing the bat batter" a couple weeks ago. I didn't like hearing it then, and I don't like the trajectory in walk rate now.
Of course if they didn't bat him in an "RBI spot", he might be more inclined to be OK not making outs and jogging to first-base.
