I wrote a post on Kevin Gausman's MLB debut last night for ESPN's SweetSpot blog. His first start (and game) could certainly have gone better, but there's a reason to be excited for his presence.

Is KG a groundball or flyball pitcher? Fangraphs doesn't have GB/FB data for minor leaguers so I can't find out for myself. If he is a flyball pitcher then his upside may be limited playing in Camden-I'd see him as a DBacks Dan Haren type
Also, we need to start a petition or something to get Gausman to switch his jersey number to 20. That way, he'll be KG 20 and we can piss off Celtics fans

In case you didn't know, 20 is retired around these parts...
Minor league central is the best place for that data: http://minorleaguecentral.com/player?pid=592332
That being said, remember to shift GB% downward a couple percent as you move up the levels. Better hitters.
