Orioles’ DHs versus NL Pitchers: Who Has Hit Better?

As I was riding the train home today, I toggled my twitter feed and noticed the title of a thread over at Camden Chat: The Pitchers Outhitting the DHs Thread.  I clicked on the link expecting to find some list of the Orioles’ DH ineptitude versus pitchers, but sadly I misunderstood the intent.  However, I am a cheerful man and decided to construct the list here for our own edification.

This post shall be updated occasionally until the DHs run away from the field.  I hope that means very soon, but as I write this…Steve Pearce is 0-2 (his numbers tonight are not included below).

OK, so those numbers above work pretty well to show how inept the Orioles have been this year.  In terms of Runs Created per 100 plate appearances, they need to leap frog 11 teams of NL pitchers.
