The Orioles haven't made a noteworthy acquisition yet this offseason -- and they may not at all. If that's got you feeling down, go ahead and rewatch Delmon Young's bases-clearing double from Game 2 of the American League Division Series once or a dozen times. (And rejoice, I guess, because Young will be back next season.)
That should help, at least. And if it doesn't, then just remember Young's timeless playoff motto: "Keep your booty loose and go out there and play baseball." Words to live by, really.
Happy Holidays, everyone. And thanks for reading.

Happy Holidays to you. That was a great video to watch again.
Good recap on the Padre outfielders but none really excited me much although you could catch a 20/20 year from Venable or a trip to the Mendoza region. Still think Carlos Quentin has another thirty homer season but his knees make me hope this isnt what Manny Machado has in his future.
Still you can argue there are many value OFer's available on the Padres, Phillies, Redsox, Pirates and free agents still available.
I wouldnt even mind taking a run at Ben Zobrist and letting him be a super utility option between 2nd/RF and wherever. You could even try to extend him on the cheap or just factor in a qualifying offer and treat him like a two year 11.25 mill player instead of a one year 7.5 player. Tampa might let him go to save salary and add one of the O's minor league pitchers featured in the earlier posts.
Happy Holidays everyone and welcome back DY. Hope you find a pitch you can take in your stocking, especially if you play more this year.
Being at that game was the greatest live sports moment I've had in person. It was absolutely amazing.
Hope you all had a Merry Christmas and have a happy New Year. This is absolutely one of the best O's sites out there and provides a focus on analysis which no other site really does for this team. Keep up the great work.
Really appreciate the kind words.
