He just didn't embarrass himself as badly at first.Rogernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2893512317902577458.post-50528865000561861752016-03-21T17:36:51.150-04:002016-03-21T17:36:51.150-04:00*too.

They were razzing me.Jon Shepherdhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03521809778977098687noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2893512317902577458.post-84916787212159974862016-03-21T17:36:02.164-04:002016-03-21T17:36:02.164-04:00I saw that play to. I remember when people use to talk about Mark Reynolds having a gold glove at first, which was basically based on the fact that he fell down a lot and not much else.Jon Shepherdhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03521809778977098687noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2893512317902577458.post-24707398798873693312016-03-21T15:54:31.762-04:002016-03-21T15:54:31.762-04:00Well, I guess it's settled then. If you watch Nolan Reimold on certain days, you'd swear he's a plus outfielder. Then he'll misread a ball or two and get a bad jump and you realize, maybe he's just OK.Matt Kremnitzerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15693430925266947705noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2893512317902577458.post-89369446456762559032016-03-21T15:43:39.779-04:002016-03-21T15:43:39.779-04:00I saw Trumbro play right field this a week and a h...I saw Trumbro play right field this a week and a half ago and he made a nice sliding play on a line drive. Had a number of balls hit his way. Nothing I saw makes me think he can't be a decent right fielded. jerrynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2893512317902577458.post-91158161328022605632016-03-18T09:06:12.823-04:002016-03-18T09:06:12.823-04:00Stats aside, Alvarez would have been a great picku...Stats aside, Alvarez would have been a great pickup, without Trumbo. On a team that prides itself on defense, to have Trumbo in right is a joke.

Adding Alvarez is clearly the result of a front office that is extremely single minded and reactive.

LF/RF gaping holes, 2 years, unfixed. The inability to fix these issues, even as bad as they pitched, probably cost them a playoff birth. So should it have cost our GM, his job.dpsmith22noreply@blogger.com
