The biggest issue is ...All that is fine and dandy. The biggest issue is that Gausman does not have a dependable third pitch. Koufaxx could get away with only having two pitches. Same with Bob Gibson. Kershaw seems to be getting away with it also. Also good as Gausman is, he is not Koufax, Gibson or Kershaw. Even Gausman admitted that he needs to come up with a third pitch, slider, cutter, curve, anything that he can consistently throw for strikes. If he can't, then he is like Britton and might be better off in the bullpen as a set-up/closer.
